Dandy Don's prediction today regarding our passing game next year. Interesting how he called him "Jarred." http://www.dandydon.com/index.html
Mr. Don hits about .900 on the little details. Incorrect first names for new players is one of his trademarks. He's pretty reliable on the big stuff, though.
LSU Spring Game: Playing with the No. 1 offense, Lee completed six of eight passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns, including a 57-yard TD pass to Demetrius Byrd. Working with the second unit, Lee hit on one of five passes for ten yards. http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=396166
Funny. I have a feeling, however, it might take a year for him to decide if the drugs are worth it all... It's not like he'll be able to deny or hide it. I'd like to think most programs in the NCAA will be looking at him with a microscope.
That was one of the only times in his career that he has looked great. He is notoriously poor in practice. There is a reason that when Flynn got "injured" in the Alabama game that Miles didn't trust him enough to go into the game for ONE PLAY and would rather burn a timeout. He did look really good in the spring game, though... He did... and if he is a pressure performer, he may well win the job... He won't do it until he begins to step it up in practice, though, because Lee murders him there.
I think it's silly to complain about a soft early schedule. By the end of the season, no one remembers who the first opponents were unless the game was televised like the Va Tech game was last year. Ever since the dropped SOS from the BCS formula, I say bring on the patsies. There is nothing to be gained by scheduling uber-tough OOC games anymore.
