I didn't post the link back to Tide fans to stir any pot. I wanted some of you to read it because MAYBE one or two of you had been saying you wanted Saban back or something to that effect.

i suspect this probably wont help your suspension.

then again i congratulated them on a basketball recruit and got banned because "i also post as another person." stupid old man over there. i do like that bayoutider guy though. wish he would post on our good eats section.

hang around here. once cparso figures out how to get rich we'll all have it made.

Obviously you're interested enough to post the thread on another board so you'll be interested enough to use the search function on Tidefans to see what he's talking about. Just for the record the title of his thread doesn't match what he's actually saying in the thread. He's not saying people want Nick Saban per se but rather make a move like Bama did to get a coach like Saban.

And to follow up on what he was saying, the overwhelming majority of people from many fanbases DID make fun of us. Laughed and pointed fingers that Saban or any other good coach wouldn't touch Bama with a ten foot pole. The job was no longer desirable and our program was dead in the water. I personally can testify to that and I'm not wasting my time giving you a link.

He referred to georgia, barn, lsWHO, tutorsee, and texA&M. He didn't refer to Clemson but I see where he could have considerring their current situation. I laughed at his post because as he stated "snap" there wasn't another coach like Saban and Bama's rivals were a bunch of wanna be's. I find rants such as this humorous because I live 5 miles from the Alabama state line. I grew up around Tide fans. Family, friends, and strangers. Bama fans have always thought fans at other schools were jealous of them and their 12 NC's or Bear Bryant and now Nick Saban. Bama fans think everybody is out to get them including the NCAA and ESPN. They whine about not getting respect even when they are ranked #2. They can't take ragging from rivals because when rival fans throw something back at them, they are righting checks with their mouth's that their butts can't cash. So what if rivals laughed when the NCAA slapped you with probation? So what if they said nobody wanted to coach for you? Bama fans gave me the same back in the 80's and I dealt with it. I know rivals aren't jealous of my school and some may hate our coach but that doesn't mean it's because they want him. I posted on that board on occasion for a few years. I traded some posts with some good and bad Bama fans. I got banned for putting a link to the thread on this forum. I guess I may get banned here as well so just in case let me say this and hopefully it wont be my last post on Tigerforums.
I have enjoyed stopping by to read some your posts and making an occasional post myself. I hope I haven't offended any of you other than by being a Gator fan. I have posted in the past after our teams have met to usually congratulate you on your win or be a good sport as I did after this years contest. I also posted before bowl games to show support for fellow conference brethren. I do this on all boards other than UGA, FSU, and UT. I even posted kindly on an OSU board before and after our 06 matchup. I didn't mean mean to stir the poop, and if I did, it's in my eye. I want to pull for you guys against Bama and that is funny because a LSU win could be harmfull to my team if we manage to win the rest of our games. I don't normally pull for one team or the other in this matchup unless it benefits my team. But Bama fans are making easy to forget personal gain in rooting for the Tide.

Isn't it funny how when we signed Coach Saban all of the rivals were making jokes about it. Certain georgia fans were calling him a yankee midget and other certain fans from the barn, lsWHO, tutorsee, and texA&M were saying things I can't repeat here. Now the day of reckoning has arrived as they are all shaking in there boots. I read posts on their boards, most of which saying more or less, "we need to come up with the money to get a coach like Saban". SNAP, there isn't another coach like Saban, go ahead and waste your money or better yet, accept ya'lls chosen place in life as Alabama wanna be's. They are starting to see the future in their magic 8 ball and it is saying "you lose"...They have wrote a check with their mouth that their butt can't cash...

They have good posters over there but it is just a stricter environment. It is probably not wise to start anything on another teams board when they run a tight ship.

I believe we have one gator fan here that likes to stir the pot but you seem like a good guy. We have a few good rival fans that contribute. Respect the forum's team and all will be good.

That's true. In their defense, they'll ban their own posters just as quick. They banned an Alabama fan who they felt got out of line with me.
