Thanks & Not at all hard to spell as I let my browser remember/store so I'm logged on the minute I hit most websites. Just gotta be careful & not do this on sites that store card#s, etc...
My grandpa had a way of rating LSU games. It was by the amount of 6-packs the game caused him to drink. Most times when LSU was coasting, half a six pack game. But a few times, in some close wins or losses, he'd have a 2 or 3 six pack game. I have a feeling that's what this Bama game is going to be.
Ok, one reminder. We beat a team that put it on LSU this past week-end. Not all Bama fans worship Nick Saban, but we do appreciate him as our coach, and we support him. I don't compare him to Coach Miles, and think that they are both good coaches, but different. You are happy with yours, and we are finally happy with ours.
Fair enough. One reminder for you-- Bama came into this game with a 9-0 record three years ago . . . and then dropped the last two. Anything can happen in the SEC, amigo. It's a mistake to write off LSU at this point.
Everyone please stop comparing the scores of games cause yes we got beat down by UGA to an extent. Yes Bama beat them down in the first half of their game so they beat them down to an extent. Like Grad pointed out. BAMA didn't score an offensive TD against Tulane and we will compare scores after this weekend from that game. Score comparisons of games with common oppenents is senseless. Each game is different, otherwise we wouldn't even play the games.
There's no doubt Saban is a good coach. The Tide will be formidable while he is coaching there. This year he is winning with an experienced QB (who was recruited by Shula) and an innovative OC. LSU has an inexperience QB and a very young and green defensive backfield. Though none of us ever want to see the Tigers lose it is inevitable. And so what if LSU loses 2 or 3 games this year. That's what most expected before the season started. That is no indication that Miles is an inferior coach, simply that the circumstances and schedules are different. The year after Florida won the NC, Urban Meyer went 9-3 with a Heisman QB. USC lost two games last year with what many were claiming to be the greatest team in college football history. It is what it is. LSU is not going away. Alabama is not going to win 3 straight NCs.
We were flat in the second half of the Georgia because we couldn't believe the Bulldogs had the guts to come out and play the second half.
That's what I'm hoping for but you know how those wedding drunks get. There will be kegs of beer, wine and a Frozen Margarita machine at the reception.
