Heck, I see dominantly negative posts on here regardless of victory or loss. A lot of weekend posters just don't like to be happy.

Yes he is. Nick is also doing well with the 20 or so freshmen and sophomores he recruited his last two classes. With Shula I doubt we would have many of the players we now have and would have lost to Clemson, Georgia, maybe Tulane, Ol Miss and Tennessee. Bama would be 4-4 trying to go to the Indy bowl again. Comparing Shula to Saban is like comparing Saturn to Cadillac. Bamabuzzard summed everything up nicely Bama fans are passionate about their football.

That argument isn't going to fly so easily. We had to hear and still hear how Miles is winning with Saban's players. As long as there are any players on the DC that belong to the coaches before Saban he hasn't won anything, right? I mean if it wasn't for JPW you guys don't win 7 games.

I think you're part right (again!).

We always expected our QB position to be rebuilt this year after RP got kicked off. We also thought our defense was in a position to reload. Young, but talented in some positions, with a solid line that was going to dominate EVERYONE. We were wrong as far as defense goes. At this point we're definately rebuilding.

What's strange is that, even with a RSF QB our offense is still ranked #2 in the SEC. That's mightly impressive.

Our defense. Not so much. :dis:

I agree Bama is under a lot of pressure to beat LSU. A loss to LSU and we both win out would put LSU in the SECCG not Bama so this is a must win for Bama as much as it is for LSU. I can hardly wait to see the game but unfortunately my LSU grad daughter chose that date and 2PM for her wedding. Many think I should disown her but I have to let her have her day. I'll settle for the replay.

On tidefans I gave Les his due saying even though Nick may have recruited them Les had to coach them. JPW is a bright spot in the offense this season and I credit much of that to our new OC Jim McElwain.

I'm going to have to grin and bear it. The tough part is I will likely be the only Bama fan besides my son at the wedding being held in Lake Charles.
