E isn't going to perform any over night miracles. The best he can do is stick his thumb in the gaping hole in the dam.

You really don't have very good reading comprehension. I am uncertain if this is intentional or just incidental if you think that's what I have been saying and what I think.

Why do I think we should beat Kentucky?

We are LSU. They are Kentucky. We have top 5 recruiting classes which if you stack four of those out of every five cycles you should compete for the natty. Kentucky

    2018: (National and SEC Rank)
    LSU 15th and 5th
    Kentucky 37th and 11th

    2019:
    LSU 5th and 4th
    Kentucky 34th and 12th

    2020:
    LSU 4th and 3rd
    Kentucky 25th and 9th

    2021:
    LSU 3rd and 2nd
    Kentucky 34th and 12th

You claim to follow recruiting. Do you understand how this works? That's literally like Alabama losing to Tennessee. No, it's actually worse. Because Tennessee recruits way better than Kentucky. It's like Georgia in recent years losing to Vanderbilt. It should not ever happen just due to talent disparity.

Now, LSU has more resources by miles over Kentucky. More fertile recruiting. Better players. Better facilities. More equipment, more analysts to breakdown film, our vaunted VR room where the defenses and offenses can break down each other indoors whenever they want.. what they have is better coaching, better stability. Look, their best players recently have been FROM US in CB Kelvin Joseph and LT Dare Rosenthal.. neither of which were even like in the top 15 players on our team when they left. They have an identity and we don't. They are incredibly sound.

If we get a lead, say 3 times you just throw it up. Max launches three straight passes to Kayshon and he houses all three like Ja'Marr did against Vandy in '19. That could put us up literally 21-0 in 3 plays. They suddenly have to try to play catch up, we can then run the ball and open up our entire playbook. They have to roll coverage to Boutte and suddenly Bech is killing them in the flats. Then maybe Deion Smith who is open constantly every game for big plays actually catches the ball this time? Deion is more talented than every player on the Kentucky roster. He was the best recruit from Mississippi. He was thrown at 10 times and caught 1 pass. When the light goes on for him though I think we see another Justin Jefferson emerge. We have Brian Thomas Jr and maybe the most dangerous guy ends up Malik Nabors.

If ANY of our 5 to 6 stud receivers go off against Kentucky, the game could be over very quickly. They have a gfreat special teams but they struggle in the red zone on offense mightily. They don't have a very good offense. Daronte is actually trying to bring this defense together, but the offense has killed him. No run game wears out our defense. No ball control with the pass game wears out our defense. We're already without the best defender in the country in Sting. Ricks is always hurt. Our best pass rusher and DL got hurt in Anthony. The amount of yellow jerseys everyday at LSU practices is the most I have ever heard of. They had more yellow jerseys for camp than we sometimes see in an entire season.

So maybe Kentucky comes out firing though. Key fumble when they soffocate Max defensively. Short field. Maybe a punt return on us. They just want to beat us up and not give up big plays. If they do that, and they easily can, they can win. Especially at home.

    Should they? NEVER.
    Could they? ABSOLUTELY.
Will they? If I knew that I'd be gambling not talking to you.

The bottom line? What I think will happen is meaningless. This is a coin flip team on its best day in a coin flip year that's put itself in a hole against every other team they play because they're the better bet every time. Because you can't trust LSU. Why?

Who here trust Orgeron and his staff to do anything right? It took him this long to have E stop watching games on the sidelines and help out the first year OC... why? He said he kept E on as an analyst to help his first year OC do his job. WHY WAS HE ON THE SIDELINES THEN.

Yeah. Who cares about guessing at who wins a football game? I don't. It shows nothing.

I just in this discussion hopefully exhibited some semblance of knowledge and understanding of football and the LSU program. Telling you I know LSU will win, WHAT ABOUT YOU BUDDY?! MAKE THE CALL! SHOW AN ACT! MAKE A PREDICTION!

That's just not football knowledge. It's immaterial. It offers nothing.

Except I guess it gives you a chance to brag. Maybe that's what matters to you? A chance to be right.. when you really can't. Because this team ain't winning more than 3 more games if it stays on this trajectory.

How many players of all those classes are still at LSU? How many contribute meaningful playing time? Did you account for the Stingleys, Gilberts and Emerys, ALL big time reasons all those classes rank so high. Lastly, how many of those UK players, playing at home, undefeated, chips on their shoulders, watched even the end of the Auburn game let alone all the others? You think they care what LSU recruiting rankings were?

I really want LSU to win but I also see a huge upset in the making UNLESS LSU does something about it. Personally I think the train is headed for a cliff w no brakes, I hope there is another set of tracks prior to the cliff we have not seen!

Just so we are clear, when you say upset, you’re referring to the 3-2 unranked team beating the 5-0 #16 team at home (who is favored), correct?

Don't have time read your War and Peace novel length post. I will make my answer short and sweet.
    1. If you go by who wins the recruiting war why even play the games anymore? Let's just mail the National Championship to who comes out first in recruiting and forget playing the games.
    2. Are you going to back up your awful opinion of O and the team? If we are so bad as a team and O is so bad as a head coach and we are in such disarray no way we beat Kentucky. Why aren't you backing up your big talk with a prediction? Saying we SHOULD win leaves you a way out in case we do that way you have nothing to answer for..
    3. LSU wins Saturday and your whole theory starts falling apart.
    4. Does this horrible coach and team is disarray do something that Florida couldn't do?
    5. Man up and tell us who wins Saturday.

BTW you could choose a certain posters way to not have to put up with my dissenting opinion, ignore is your friend. Lastly I ignore all the ignore is your friend posters.

ANY, Kentucky victory over LSU, regardless of records, is an upset. Guarantee if they win, they rush the field. Put the game in BR, LSU wins, another win over UK, ops normal.

The Tank Killer pilot is correct. Kentucky is overrated we are underrated. Kentucky fans will be rushing out the stadium not on the field. We won't need the Bluegrass Miracle to win either.

The Warthog is in my top five American war planes.
