I was disappointed in the lack of heart and fight. I'm only expecting LSU to bounce back, and play great football the rest of the year by winning out.....including their bowl game.

And we gotta call a spade a spade here. In the last 2 games against Alabama, Anthony Jennings has been the better quarterback. Now, the game was at home when Jennings played so maybe that's the difference, but Jennings didn't turn it over, he ran the ball well, and he threw good balls that were just dropped. I'm not saying Jennings is better or even that Harris should be pulled because I don't think either, but Jennings played better last year in this game than Harris did this year.

That's not a sure thing either. Other coaches seem to better than Les is with weeks to prepare.

Did you even watch the Ole Miss/Alabama game? Bama most definitely did get bitch-slapped by Ole Miss. They ended up closing in within a TD at the end of the game, but that was long after the Bama fans were crying and then deserting Bryant Denny like rats leaving a sinking ship.

They were beaten every bit as soundly as we were last night.

Yeah I watched it. I saw an Alabama team give the ball away 5 times and still have a chance to win.

They were beaten pretty good and the score was definitely closer than the game played out but nothing morale crushing like last night.
That was something special that our program took last night that it may not recover from for a long time. And by that I mean confidence, recruiting and perception vs Bama. All took a major hit. As a program. Unless miles addresses his stupidity on offense we may never feel on equal footing again. And at this point I don't think even the players or fans think anything is going to change any time soon. Not as long as Les is dictating the offense.

That's a good point, I never even thought about recruiting and perception and how both could have taken a huge blow after last night's shit show.

The hit in perception came in the 2012 BCSNCG. We haven't recovered from that and may not any time soon.

I was hopeful we had turned that corner, but certainly, we haven't.

Here's what I want to know. It's not like these D linemen, Clifton Garret and others who are busts aren't highly rated. Some of them even had offers from Alabama. So what's the problem? Is it the players or the coaching staff?

If Bama would have had 5 turnovers last night they still would have won.
