I am just trying to look at it from a complete outsiders perspective like Kelly is. He has, what, ZERO ties to LSU? It might be he just looks at the whole program as a complete shit show regardless of a "few bright spots". All that talent and struggling to finish .500? BK would not have been on my watch list, but I cant say I necessarily think what is all going on is inherently bad at the moment. Our guys celebrate making a sack when we are down 3 scores and Saban's teams get bitched out for missing tackles when they are up 3 scores. At some point, we got to stop the party from 2019 and get back to work. We have looked ultra soft these past 2 years.
With regards to Cory Raymond, who are the top prospects he recruited compared to LSU's all time greats recently? I have to say, for all the "elite" talent we have had at CB these last 2 years we cant seem to keep them on the field. Regardless of Cory...
Because you know squat. Raymond's DB's frequently looked lost. Good recruiter? Sure, but Frank Wilson makes up for that. And it's not like Stingley and Ricks were dying to stay here, either.
He's been here for 10 days and we made a mistake. You are making a mistake buddy and I ain't covering for nobody. Neither you nor I know jack shit as to how this will turn out. Your love affair with Raymond is something to see. Once again if he is so good and irreplaceable why hasn't another school hired him as HC or OC by now? Most new coaches get 3 to 4 years to show what they got you haven't even given him 2 weeks. He'll let's just let the fans pick Kelly's assistants with this way of thinking. Hell maybe the fans should approve the gameplans for each game too.
“Once again if he is so good and irreplaceable why hasn't another school hired him as HC or OC by now?” You have stated this in several other threads. This is like comparing apples to oranges. No one on this board has suggested him for either OC or HC. He was a great recruiter and a good DB coach here and he will now be the same for the f**king gayturds. Raymond and Wilson would have been a powerful recruiting team. Flat out this was a missed opportunity by Kelly.
