This is where LSU ranked in total opponent passing yards per game throughout the last 5 years: 2017- 19th 2018- 30th 2019- 51st 2020- 127th 2021- 91st I know Raymond is a valuable recruiting asset but there has been an inability to live up to LSU’s DBU standard over the last 5 years. It’s frustrating to land some of the top recruits in the country and then let them get distracted with life after college. Point is we wanted change and now that it's it's happening we are bitching because things are changing.
You actually think DB's from Louisiana are going to head to Florida just because of Raymond? Already one of our best DB's McGlothen has no problem with his departure and he's not even from Louisiana. You don't think Wilson and Davis will make up for his loss recruiting wise? Have you read the bio on this Cooks guy? Look at his resume he's a stud and is apparently a great recruiter with Texas connections. Like I said before if one coach is bigger than the whole program we got a major problem. Corey wanted an AHC position and a raise, how do you not give him that and instead bring in some schmuck to replace him. DBU is dead, this sets the program back 7 years min.
