I'd still chalk it up to Florida becoming mediocre. I agree the loss last year fell on Coach O, but the better team lost that game. We were one dimensional (because of CLM) and Muschamps defense stuffed us. Florida and Jim however you spell his last name certainly didn't "beat us". Florida Football under Coach butter teeth is a wet fart. I'll learn his last name when they become relevant, until then, carry on hating away.
There you go again talking out your ass about half the LSU fan base when you don't have a frickin' clue. Regardless of whether the fan base liked Miles or not, the majority were more than ready for a change. Look Kathy, we understand that your feelings feelings are hurt over the firing of your husband but don't take it out on the new coach who hasn't even had a full year to show what he can do. And before you say he showed what he could do at Ole Miss...shut up no one other than you gives a rats ass about a record from 10 years ago, if we did Miles wouldn't have been fired...remember he won in 2007!
If they start 5-0, at least we don't have to hear how bad O is from Tap for 5 straight weeks. I'll say this about the coaching change....LSU football is fun to watch again. We'll see where it goes.
That's wishful thinking...he'll find something to complain about. He'll pull up 1 stat from a Miles team 8 years ago that may be better than something done in one of O's wins and harp on it til he's proven wrong again.
I'm not sold on O either and he wasn't my choice for our coach. Actually I wish Les would have fixed his problems and stayed with us because he was good for LSU. He didn't and he's gone, it's his own fault. With that said I'm certainly going to support O and wish he is successful because that's what true fans do. I'll never understand a fan rooting for failure just to say "I told you so!" That's just insane!!!
