So tired of the media (and SEC refs) lovefest for Fla and Ala. We still have something to say about it...

As I've been saying, and today was evidence of that, the SEC teams are beating each other up. When a horrible UT can take USCe to the woodshep and play UF and Bama close the conference is showing signs of being more balanced.

Generally I don't let what commentators say get to me, but I too have heard what you're saying on several different occasions and I gotta say it gets under my skin. Anyone that makes a comment like that is clearly not paying attention. Let's just hope it motivates our players and fattens the heads of the Bama players.

on the way home today by about the third time i heard "the winner of fla and alabama will play in the nc" (and it wasnt even 9 am) i went off on that same rant.

it seems like the past few days every time i turn on espn radio, that is what i hear. its driving me bat **** crazy!

i hope the team is getting pissed off!

but isn't this kind of like the whole racism thing? if you keep bringing it up, it will never go away. maybe those people are just looking to rile you guys up? i say just let it slide and let it go away on its own.

during the half time at the tulane game one of the comentators asked Billy Cannon who he liked for this years Heisman. and he said.... hold on to your hats folks... he said he liked tebow IF FLORIDA could BEAT BAMA and look good. he kind of half caught himself and the commentators looked a little sheepish and went silent.

I thought man..... I am glad it wasn't nationally televised... how embaressing to have your star Heisman winner exhibit lack of faith as a slip up. :dis:

    ...and the beat goes on.

Today on Colleg Football Live, Mack Brown was interviewed. I forget what it was that he was responding to but he said, and this is not word for word, " Florida and Alabama are in the top 3 with us but they do play eachother, so we'll see how it plays out." This one was the worst I've heard to date cause he didn't say Bama and Florida will play eachother, he said "Florida and Bama do play eachother." Saturday should be interesting.
