Yes it is. We see the talent, but it's not easy to see all the components that go into it. The People factor being the most dominate. Fans can debate stats all day on forums, but come Saturday, it's the kids who show up that day. Les deserved some of the negativity. But hiring good assistance coaches and trying to hit on the best players, can be a walk in the dark. Good coaches, make the adjustments and work there way out of it. But for many who lost faith, it was too much.
Tusk, you're a good poster and good Alabama fan. Now, I live in Birmingham, so that ride home for me Saturday night went by rather quickly.
Good post. I got that half of your posts were being sarcastic anyway, so I held no bitterness towards you. Good game, and thanks for sticking around to take your lumps. Geaux Tigers, see you guys again next year.
Classy post. Thanks a bunch.. All the Bama fans I ran into at the game were nothing but class afterwards. It was a good day.. Now go kick the crap out of Auburn (as if I even have to tell you to do that)...
Wow, you are truly a good sport. Thank you. You set an example for all of us on how to carry yourself after a loss. Good luck to you. It was our signature win, and the best win we have had in many years. I think that says something about your program. As stated earlier, smash auburn please. Add me to the list of tide fans when ya'll get auburn. I won't be wearing any alabama hats or anything, just quietly cheering when no one is looking.
Got a feeling we won't be seeing the Tusker around much from now on. Just won't be as much fun for him.
