i like most of his articles. I can't recall much of anything he says that wasn't the truth. you just cant speak about race openly in this country without hurting everyone's feelings. he hates on Jesse Jackson and AL Sharpton and calls Brett Favre the white T.O. whats not to like. except that hes obnoxious as hell and a bit rude. that doesnt help his cause. well lets hope not. maybe we can get this distraction out of the way altogether.
Whitlock was the one ragging on athletes making it rain in strip clubs and then he is busted with photos of strippers all over his lap. Then he made those comments about LSU players being bust after one or two years in the league. Kansas City was the main topic of the article and then Bowe blew up and Dorsey had a productive season. It is not what he said but how he always takes the almighty angle and he can't be wrong and then he usually is.
Oregon appears to be caught in a situation where Lyles' quickly growing poor reputation doesn't change the current seeming-evidence of impropriety and cover-up. On the other hand LSU seems to have played by the book. At the worst LSU just did a better job of playing the game everyone appears to play. Unless Lyles' has some hard evidence of quid pro quo, his word shouldn't be enough to do any thing. This guy appears to be too much of a hustler for the NCAA to take him at his word. On the other hand, when has the NCAA made sense?
There's a significant difference between speaking openly about race and outright race-baiting. Here's my personal favorite piece of stupidity, Saints fans should remember it well: The 10 greatest QBs of all-time - NFL News | FOX Sports on MSN
Same way we spoke of USC players sucking he simply did the same with LSU guys. And given where they were drafted-all first rounders, much more was expected. Dorsey & Tyson Jackson had sucked pretty hard up to that point. Bowe became a nice bright spot for them. And about him being busted in a strip club? He never hid the fact he went to strip clubs. He simply said young athletes should avoid them for the obvious reasons. but mostly people hate him because they cant handle race issues unless it agrees with their view. At least you made an argument based on something he said. makes as much sense as congress indicting athletes for lying. you cant think this **** up.
Dorsey and Jackson were on the team for one season when the comments were made and he made it out to be the reason KC was so bad. Which makes zero sense given it usually takes a few years for lineman to live up to their status if they ever do. No, Whitlock took the road on a few TV sports shows to take the almighty angle. I am sure he switched up his words a time or two like usual. And this is just two of the off the wall examples. I have never cared about being blunt with race issues, not sure where that is coming from.
And doesn't KC play a defense that doesn't really fit well with the way GD plays anyway? I remember them talking about that, perhaps they play a 3-4 instead of a 4-3. I would think Dorsey to be better fit with a 4-3.
