I like looking back and playing all the "What Ifs" out. There are a lot of What If's in last night's game that could have made us as fans feel a lot better or worse.

    • What if Jasper had made his only FG attempt?
LSU would have been up by 23 points instead of 20, meaning UNC would have had to attempt 2-pt conversions to even tie the game, let alone have a chance to win in regulation.

    • What if Hebert hadn't committed a holding penalty in the 4th quarter?
TD LSU. 37-17. Game over. If I remember correctly, the hold had little to do with Ridley's TD run, and he would have scored regardless.

    • What if Brandon Taylor didn't catch Boyd on that 75 yard pass?
UNC TD. 14-7 early. The entire game's make-up changes. Instead, LSU gets a chance to stop them and force a field goal.

    • What if Ridley didn't fumble at the end?
First down. LSU kneels, and the game is over. It was a scare, and no one feels good about it, but UNC never got closer than 40 yards away from winning the game.
