correct. the government definitely covers up their mistakes and mismanages things. but they almost never do things with premeditated intent, like blow things up or kill presidents or celebrity soldiers because they are scared of their opinions. and anyways, pat tillman wasnt gonna say anything too explosive. as far as i can tell he was for the afgan war, he might have said he thought the iraq war was frivolous. so what, lots of influential people say that.
what he is saying is that a recession is defined by 2 consecutive quarters of negative gdp and or growth. statistics show that hasnt happen since 2008.

I understand that. I also understand that the government tweaks the numbers in their favor. The statistics are not accurate. Do you really think unemployment at 9% is accurate? If you use the same methods used in the 80's it is more like 19%. And in the 80's Reagan was already saying we couldn't trust the government's statistics. It certainly hasn't gotten better. Do you really think there is no inflation in the economy? Gold is at 1300. How about LSU football tickets? Or how about the housing crisis? Was Bernanke right when he said it had been contained to subprime mortgages? Why is it you can see the agenda that ESPN pushes regarding its games and the agenda the SEC has regarding its unbeaten teams but not regarding the government managing inflation expectations?

Man you have the same problem as Florida. You don't understand what words mean. This is similar to you thinking crack laws are racist, even though it was poor urban black people screaming for tough laws on crack.
