The guy is a friggin BEAST!!! Has he EVER dropped a ball?? It seems if he's not blocking, he's always open. He's a perfect third down receiver with his clutch catches. The guy is as tough as it gets. It seems always when a guy tries to tackle him, he hurts himself. He jumps for the ball, fights for it, and breaks tackles when he's got it. Im glad Crowton's system utilizes his abilities more than our previous offense.
I agree. Dickson has been great all season, and looks to have a bright career at LSU for the next couple of years. Had he been in for the Zinger drop, we could probably have won that Kentucky game outright (although thats huge speculation).
I agree Hurricane! Dickson has been a huge pickup for the Tigers. I like Crowton's willingness to go to the tightend for a first down. Geaux Richard!
Cajun Sensation and I live in the same city he's from (Ocean Springs, MS). Watched him all through high school and was happy as hell when he signed with us. I knew he would be a big contributor and I hope Crowton adds some more plays for him.
Dickson just might be that reliable, "go-to", possession receiver we need so often on third down. And he's big and tough enough to operate in the middle of the field. Hope we see a lot more of him! ldskule:
Love the way he catches and seeks out the contact after the catch. Looks like one hell of a NFL prospect to me.
I have been impressed with his play all season. I hope we get to see a lot more of him as the season progresses.
I agree with the point about "if" he had been the TE in the endzone on the pass that Zinger dropped. I really think he'd have caught it, and we'd have won.
I know Crowton wants to throw to the TE, so I have to wonder what's going on with Dickson's relatively low number of catches (compared to his Oregon offense). I have assumed it was because we've needed him more for blocking due to, at times, weak OLine play, but he was open a lot in the Auburn game & we didn't throw it to him until the end. He's only a sophmore & will continue to get better.
