Theres a lot of "USC" promoters out there thats for sure. The best argument I've heard was an LSU/USC game would have been better. Better than OSU? In as much as how close the game was, yes, but I have the feeling that a lot of them would gladly hand pick anyone they could to try to beat us (or anyone else in the SEC) theres still a large number of folks out there with a major hatred, and or jealousy of the southern schools. Just my opinion. You're a Trojan, I wouldn't expect you to do anything less than support your school, and rightfully so. But theres a lot out there that wanna see it played for no other reason than what I've mentioned earlier. BTW, I'm kinda surprised USC and LSU haven't worked out getting on each others schedules. I'd love to see the Trojans come to Tiger stadium!:thumb:
If you're suggesting that NC's should only count in the BCS era, then let's take away the one that LSU had prior to that time. Otherwise, you have a way to go to catch up with USC's NC's. Again, congrats on the win.
How many LSU has in the last 5 years - :crystal::crystal: How many USC has in the last 5 years - :crystal: END
You wanna make jokes? Tell Boudreaux and Thibodeaux jokes. Don't "criticize" in the form of "being funny". We are not buying it.
Poor vball, taking heat for no apparent reason. I know at times it feels.. they [USC] steal thunder very well. I was bitter myself for a while.. with the rose bowl advertised more heavily than the BCSCG. Top it off with us winning the BCSCG and hearing how "USC is the best team in the country" I just assume most of the tiger faithful feels threatened by USC. The pac10 is dominated by USC. This year ASU and Oregon looked to make it a tough conference.. but injuries happened. Earlier in the season the pac10 was stout. Unless you all have forgotten when Cal, ASU, Oregon, USC were all highly ranked? The pac10 was close behind the SEC this year. It slipped a bit at the end.. but *shrug*
I apologize if my attempts at being a good sport have fallen flat with all of you. My sincerest congratulations on your NC.
Not trying to pile on you vball, but I really disagree with this statement. It has a lot to do with real game analysis. Yes they can be wrong, but the people who set the spreads don't just do this for fun. They are close far more times than not.
I agree with most of this. The system is broken, but LSU won according to the system that everyone agreed to. Georgia ended the season well, but not winning their conference really takes the air out of their argument. They wouldn't have made my playoff because of it and they only have themselves to blame; their performance on the field kept them out of the conference championship. I believe Hawaii deserved a shot at the NC more than Georgia because of Boise St last year. More over, teams like USC were screwed over by the system. It sucks, but most knew that going in. Many agree that the way we determine our champion in college football is lame. Unfortunately we aren't strong enough to get that change. In the perfect world, college football would have a flexible 2-8 team playoff and Ron Paul would be president. :thumb: Well, at least we can agree on this... :geauxtige.
I didn't call you anything and I didn't insult anything except your comments. You are trying to keep an irrelevant USC team in the conversation while we are in the midst of celebrating our 2nd NC in 5 years. If I wanted to insult you, I would, Sugar.
