They probably don't have a shot after they lose to OSU and (insert random, crappy PAC-10 team here). After all, OSU plays in the Big-10, so a win vs. USC virtually guarantees them a spot in the title game vs. the SEC champ. :thumb: FWIW, a lot of teams would struggle against Stanford's backup quarterback.
No wonder ESPN loves them, go to http://wearesc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=3 the website says its an ESPN affiliate. Is that just the web site or USC all together? Or just a joke?
Well, at least ESPN is already saying we have to start the season with USC at #1, AGAIN. I mean what is the USC motto, "start at number #1, choke, finish in the Rose Bowl, claim a title. The Pac 10 formula for a national title." And as everyone knows LSU only wins because the national title and Sugar Bowl are played in their on-campus facility of the Superdome.:insane: :insane: Meanwhile, USC has to travel, like NINE or TEN whole miles across town from the school to the distant hostile Rose Bowl (where they win when playing the third best Big 10 team, but lose when they play Texa). USC, the Official Initials of Excellence in the crap pool.
Aside from a select few. Most of the people i have read and heard from today have all Said "LSU is the deserving National Champion" even Buckeye himself last night said "LSU IS the National Champion, undisputed, I dont care about USC or anyone else" his exact words "Case Closed" only Corso and even he back tracked after his silly "give me the mascot head" stunt. I actually cheered when he did that.
Big hint. I was referencing YOUR game against Arkansas. Go read some of the posts from the first few hours and days after that game. The Tiger faithful were not as convinced as they are today. Sure the SEC is better top to bottom, I've said it here before. However, it is not so much better that all other teams and conferences are crap.
Most websites out there are affiliated with either Scout, Rivals, or now ESPN. The WeAreSC site is owned by an individual, not ESPN. It is affiliation in name only. Since Florida/SwampGas is part of the same affiliation, does that mean ESPN loves them too?
Question: What do USC, UGA, WVU all have in common? Answer: They all lost to a Ch!tty non-bowl team from their own conference, and thus have no real argument about not getting into the BCS CG.
If I couldn't stand it I wouldn't be here and the first comment I made on this board wouldn't have been congrats, which it was. I also wouldn't have been making jokes and trying to get the Tiger faithful to lighten up a bit and just enjoy what has happened. I also don't call other posters silly names and resort to insults to make a point. Good for you.
hmmm......i wonder who that might be corso? oh c'mon.....try hard to think of one (maybe on the west coast, plays in a weak conference, only loses to weak conference opponents once annually...) would that be before or after LSU dominated and executed it's gameplan in a superior way indicating to me and others that against any other opponent the outcome would have been the same? i agree.....you should let it go. thanks, we will. btw, how many of these do the condoms have???? you should start and end every post with this widely held view.
Why don't we get USC and LSU to drop one of their weak teams and play each other . LSU has Georgia next year , that maybe the game to remember.
