hello! just wanted to stop by (sorry, I started back to school, haven't had much time of late), and say good luck! I'll be rooting for the tigers, and curious to see tech's offense in action. here's to hoping that you guys can contain them, or at least score more points!

    Best of luck!

Check out the projected outcome of the Chick Fil A Bowl at whatifsports.com.
They have Ga Tech 24 LSU 21 with the complete scoring summary and box score.

And they also lost to Virginia, putting up only 260 yards total. I wouldn't draw any conclusions from either of those.

Sounds like our seniors have a chip on their shoulder, something to prove:

    From the Times Picayune today:

    5th-year senior Marlon Favorite said:

"When you have a season like this, when you lose this many games, you start to question in your head, 'Did we, as a D-line, play to our full potential?' "

5th-year Tyson Jackson said he hoped that potential would translate to domination in its last chance of 2008.

"It wasn't the season we expected or our fans expected. But this bowl game is a big opportunity for us on this team, especially us seniors, to come out and prove we've still got it and to leave [on] a positive note."

This is going to be an interesting game.
My gut says CLM's teams show up for bowl games at least while at LSU.
I think the seniors want to prove they are better than what their record indicates.
I will take LSU for those two reasons only.

    On the other hand.
LSU's D has been bad for at least the last 3 years vs Arkansas.
We have lost at least 2 out of the last 3 to them.
Arkansas, at running team gave LSU all it could handle looking at the past 3 seasons.
Georgia was killed by GT, LSU was killed by Georgia.
    Seems like Halloween.

But triple option teams always turn it over.

LSU also has a power running game, but our tailbacks almost never fumble.
