I think LSU has a good chance to win since Tech is mostly a running team.

Plus LSU has dominated in bowl games under Miles.

GT runs the option. It's just the option, we know we're fast enough on D. All we have to do is learn how to tackle in the next few weeks.

It's very easy to say "it's just the option," but it's assignment football and deception.

Each guy is assigned a man and they have to take that man out on every play.

If they don't, 20-25 yard runs will be the story of the day.

What about LSU's current defensive situation (coordinator gossip, player frustration, lack of discipline) makes us think it will be so easy to stop an offense that exploits defenses like ours?

Now, granted, they have a week to work on it... And they might well get it down and lay a whoopin' on these guys. But it will be easier said than done.

Good. then they'll only have 300 yards total offense.

You're right it won't be easy at all, not with our defense.

But if we do get Koenning before the game, he knows that team. So that will definitely help.

This is going to be a pretty exciting game for Georgia Tech and their fans.

Georgia Tech is located 2 miles from the Peach Bowl.

Georgia Tech hasn't been to the Peach Bowl since 2000, when LSU beat them 28-14.

    This is interesting:

The combined team payouts to the ACC and SEC teams this year will be $6.01 million, giving the Chick-fil-A Bowl the third-highest team payout in the country after the BCS bowls.

LSU will get $3 million... not a bad reward for a 7-5 season.

LSUs run defense is No. 5 in the SEC and No. 16 Nationally with 105.7 rushing yards per game. We are last in the SEC and No. 81 Nationally against the pass. GT has no serious passing offense but could throw us off by going to it if they can get it established. I think we won't completely shut their run down but I don't think we'll give up 400 yards either.
LSU does have a shot at winning this game, as I think we are good enough to be ranked... but our D needs to show up in a bad way. This game is the only game on television that night, so we could save grace by winning or lose more respect by losing... has the implications to cause us some serious issues possibly in recruiting if we lose this game.
