And this was before Leslie kneeled down, got on all fours, spread his ass cheeks apart, and let lil napoleon push his shit in during the NCG in 11.
Miles' results in his tenure have been cyclical. Up in 2007 and down in 2008-09. Up in 2011. Down in 2012 and present. Has had a way of turning things around with good coordinators. When LSU was lost on defense he got Chavis. When we were lost on offense he went and got Cameron. He is only as good as his coordinator hires and his recruit commitments. Every 4 years or so he hits on a good combination of talent and coaching. If he misses the cycle in the next few years his time at the table will be up (for me). Tear down the walls.
We were one first down or one defensive stop away from potentially winning a national championship last year.
True. And maybe this year we were 1 int too many against Ole Miss from playing in another NC. Maybe all our losses for these last two seasons are measured by an RCH. It is hard to measure the need for change by an RCH.
You do agree 2008 and 2012 should be viewed quite differently? The jury is out on 2013. If we win out, then yes you come back to the 3 interception game by Mettenberger and make the same conclusion as 2012. If we lose to A&M and Bama, and lose in pretty bad fashion, this season looks a lot more like 2008 than 2012. And that could spell trouble down the road.
Yes. 2013 not 2012 could be compared to 2008. At any measure, I think this is the low water mark for this cycle. LSU will be stronger in the next few years or Les failed to do his job. if that time comes, then I will use all of my insignificant monetary influence to get him out.
Well we have to wait it out to see if 2013 is 2008 all over again. There is a good chance it will end up that way, I'll give you that.
