    1) He is far from having my undying loyalty. From the time he was hired, I supported him & thought he would make a very good coach at LSU. So far, he's accomplished all the expectations in terms of wins & losses that a reasonable fan could expect. He still has things left to prove & the jury is still out, but he's done alright by me so far. I question things about him, just as I did about Saban though.

2)The talent wasn't there. See above post.

But this is something you see consistently during coaching changes. There was also that little distraction known as Katrina. I recognize these problems but there were far too many variables here to assume it's Miles' fault.

You have got to be kidding me.... Fastest recieving core (maybe ever) in football. RB akin to Auburn last year (i know Alley got hurt). OLine chock full of Snr talent. 3 QBs most college coaches would kill for... but all we saw was sloppy play, miscues, and tons of mistakes

We do, as fans. We now, due to internet and such, have a much louder voice than we did just 10 years ago. The voice of the people carries more weight now than ever before. These administrative positions, within the university, are now more political than anything else. Piss too many of us off and you're done.

Fast receivers WAHOO!!! How about receivers that can run routes & catch? Those would help.

2 Great running backs. Both hurt. There goes that argument.

3 QBs most college coaches would kill to have as backups. They are talented, but nothing special just yet. Young & prone to mistakes. Also, only 1 QB plays - if he doesn't get hurt, your 2nd & 3rd don't really matter right now.

    Next argument.

    1. Routes and proper technique for catching the ball (50/50 on coaching/players)

    2. Maybe Miles should have taken a softer practice routine like Saban did... and or not over work certain RBs in game situations.

    3. JR is coming along well, but slowly... this was so even under Saban (who was not an offensive minded coach).

Only improvement i saw in this team from last year to this is Special Teams

Parso, you are right. With this sub par group it is a wonder we have actually done as well as we have. I mean with this arguement you have just won me over and now my vote for Les Miles Coach of the Year has been secured. Our subpar talent and his excellent coaching abilites have brought us to 10-1. Next arguement...can you feel the sarcasm yet?

Well Saban also failed to develop those receivers. So try not to put the blame on Miles. Those same receivers also are a lot better this year than last, just still not up to expectations.

Yup. Injuries are definitely Miles' fault.

JR is a sophmore. He's developing more quickly than average, but still has a ways to go. He is MUCH improved over last year.

I haven't watched the same games as you then.

    Recievers -

Bennie... lighting the world on fire this year... when he can get the ball ?

Skyler... a no factor this year ?

Bowe... keeps dropping, but we keep throwing to him ?

Early... good across the middle and when he gets the ball... he scores TDs... when he gets on the field that is?

Buster Davis... great hands, but we only short pass to him ?

Xman... only used in reverses... like Skyler ?

You thnk thats the proper way to use our talent ?
