The links is to Les' post game presser. Interesting comments. http://www.wafb.com/clip/10991608/lsu-post-game-les-miles-vadal-alexander-lael-collins
Looks like the spark is gone. Never really know what Les is thinking but he looked whipped in that video. I wonder if he saw this coming and has someone in the wings. Other than the Co DC experiment he always seemed to have his back covered.
His best years are behind him. I like the guy, but the way he was on the sidelines in his NC run was/is way different than now.
Disagree, i saw about 6 players that played their asses off. The offensive line deserves credit, as does Fournette, and Dural. Also Dieon Jones, Jamal Adams, and Godchaux were the only defenders that showed up. Jalen Collins can leave, I'll pack his bags for him. I'd take a pot smoking coke snorting class skipping Rashard Robinson over him all day every day, Collins sucks. As for Chief fuck it, and Miles fuck it, I'm done. Where's my shirt?
Notwithstanding the defense's inability to get off the field on third downs, remember that we scored 3 of our TD's in the following fashion: Fournette KO return, Fournette 89-yard TD run on 1st play from scrimmage after getting the ball back, and Diarse 75-yard pass from Jennings on very 1st play of second half. That definitely factors into ND's 37 minute TOP. We scored 28 points, which should be enough to win, especially with how our D played the second half of the season. The D plain and simple, just didn't show up today (except for Adams and Kwon).
Agreed on Collins, he got abused today. They beat him EVERY time they went his way. C ya! Take your "I am NFL ready" attitude and go. I will remember you when you ask me "would you like a hot apple pie with that sir"? In about 2 years.
What is most troubling is that Jennings was actually considerably worse than Jordan Jefferson's 1st season. Following the Jefferson trend, Jennings should get worse next season.
Three stats stand out to me this AM while reading articles, mostly critical of our performance yesterday. #1 - The Irish had a 14 minute advantage in TOP #2 - The Irish converted 11 of 17 3rd down opportunities. #3 - Jennings was 5 for 10 passing. An added bonus confirmed by Stevie Wonder & Ronnie Milsap. #7 was our offense.
