There isn't any good and our performance was PHUCKING HORRIBLE!!!. I've been listening to and watching LSU football longer than most of you have been alive. I'm as pissed, disappointed, and heartbroken as I've ever been. The Irish flat ass OUTPLAYED us, OUTCOACHED this miserable coaching staff and deserved the W. If we had an AD with any balls he would call our overpaid HC into his office and rip his ass a new one. But we all know that isn't going to happen. Red and the rest of you sunshine pumpers continue to enjoy 8 & 4 seasons and getting outplayed and outclassed by an inferior team in bowl games.
Agree COTiger....we were man handled today by a team that is not very good (4 straight losses), and a couple of boneheaded coaching decisions compounded the problem. The box score tells it all. Only 7 completions out of 14 attempts. If it wasn't for Fournette, we would have lost by a least 10 points. To let a team hold the ball for 37 minutes with the #1 defense in the SEC makes one wonder what the hell the coaches were thinking.
Unfortunately we're stuck with him because no one will pay his buyout, including us to get rid of him.
If the deep pocket & influential TAF members are as pissed as I am, they will find a way. If not be prepared for sending more players to the NFL and trying to stay out of the SECW cellar.
It wasn't all bad. Fornette looked like a stud RB and Williams is going to get a lot of carries next year. Williams is going to prove to be a beast. Adams and Godchaux are the real deal, but these lite in the ass DLs get pushed around against big OLs. It's a young very talented team with an ok coaching staff and no QB. Next season should be better, just don't count on much better.
