The ugly -- too numerous to mention. LSU must have thought it was a W just by showing up, with all of the Ole Miss injuries. That's on the coaching staff. The team needs to be prepared to go in there and play the damn game. When you have horrible preparation, and combine it with your QB throwing 3 interceptions in the first half, a defense that can't get off the damn field and allows 3rd and long conversions again and again, and a coaching staff that leaves a timeout in its pocket thereby negating any chance of comeback, well folks, then you deserve to lose.
I just don't get how we can look so lost. It would be easy to blame it on coaches, but that can't be all. Thought Jefferson was behind center tonight.
I agree this one is ultimately on Mett, but I place even greater blame to the game called by Cam Cameron. That Ole Miss defense couldn't stop our running game if it wanted to.
Les' halftime remarks suggested that the awful home run throws were on Mettenberger and shorter routes were open. He also blamed the tackling, which was bloody horrible. Never seen so many broken arm tackles in my life.
