All I can say is Wow after reading this article. Very long article but some of the details are crazy. Paying a stripper/prostitute to have an abortion after paying the stripper to have sex and not telling the player about getting her pregnant in the 1st place is only one minor detail. 2 Bama coaches and one UF coach are mentioned as taking benefits. LSU targets like Andre Debose and Ray Ray Armstrong are mentioned. Renegade Miami football booster spells out illicit benefits to players - Investigations - Yahoo! Sports
Man who knows how much of this is true, but if it is The U is in quite the pickle with the history they have of this...
A lot of it has been verified through phone records, credit card bills, pictures, and several player admissions.
I doubt the NCAA will ever issue a death penalty again but this could be very bad for the U. I see about as close as you can get to the death penalty..
the whole thing doesnt have to be true. if even a part of it is and can be corroborated (and apparently has been) and verified with documents, just a part of it is a shyt load.
They should receive what is essentially a death penalty. The only thing that will keep Miami from it is the financial repercussions from shutting down this program would be far reaching. Money speaks above all. We shall see.
No doubt. As bad as it all is, the abortion and the bounty facets are eye-dropping for me. Could make FSU stay put and be that "other" conference school drawing on someo of Miami's would be recruits. Paul Dees comment about USC will come back to haunt him.
Shapiro's a dead man walking. Do you think that the drug dealers, who had to be part of his lifestyle, can trust him now to keep quiet? I mean Shapiro's not only squealing like a pig...he's connecting all the dots too. I imagine there are people in Columbia and Mexico who are not amused by how these NCAA violations are being aired.
