I am not in the least surprised by JJ's performance. Nor am I surprised with Miles's performance. I am not surprised that everyone but Miles could see that JJ's attitude and demeanor are those of a loser and team cancer. I'm not surprised by anything that transpired last night. Miles has accomplished far more than I ever expected of him. Miles has done very well, given his limitations as a football coach. I'm thankful for that.
The whole JJ/JL situation is just completely perplexing... I've just never seen anything like it. Lee loses his job after a poor performance in one game. Yet, over the last 12 quarters of football we have witnessed 8 of the worst quarters of offensive football ever... it was historically bad... but Miles chooses to stick with JJ. It just doesn't make any sense.
I disagree. JJ is a loser. His mental attitude and demeanor are those of a loser and team cancer. I held my tongue during his tenure as LSU QB because I wanted to support the team, but, now that the season is over, it is quite obvious to me that JJ is a loser and can never be a successful football player at any position simply because he's not intelligent, he's whiney, he has no self-awareness and he's completely selfish. He's not fit to lead one person, much less a football offense. I would not trust JJ to be a Corporal, much less any kind of higher leader. The fact that Miles never wavered in his faith in JJ causes me to seriously question Coach Miles's coaching abilities, now that the final verdict is in. I hope that Miles has enough self-awareness to recognize his OWN deficiencies. If he does, he will hire good OC/DC talent and let them coach. Unfortunately, I also doubt Miles's own ability to assess himself, because he may lack the attribute of self-awareness.
