the fact is that not one of us has ever met, or really even seen anyone in america (non drug addict) who was hungry. we dont even know what hugry people look like. we know what the "poor" people look like, they look fat.
But you knew it and understood it. In fact, you were just about to post that and Red beat you to it right? Quit sucking Red's dick. It's unbecoming.
The question should be: What have poor people done on this earth to “HAVE THE RIGHT” to take another man’s wealth? This is America, there is no “MAN” holding us back. If you WORK hard, you will have a good life. I serve in the military and my base pay is 26K, about 36-38k if you add the benefits I get. That’s not much money by any means, but I live a DAMN good life because I am smart and know what is reasonable in my life. I also understand that in order for me to earn more money, I needed to work hard and “LEARN” useful skills in the civilian world. Well, I got my butt in school and will graduate this October. I did all of this with a wife, 2 kids and a full time job in the military. Over time, my efforts in the military and school will translate to more money for my family. Poor people need nothing other than a kick in the azz to get to work. Life is too easy to fail at it. Now I am not saying people should never require help, I am all for helping the willing, but this method we have here in the states where generations of families are supported by government welfare must stop and has to stop if America is to have a future.
Poo people eat shoe souls? Citizens weren't starving in Rome either, but the fact remains that when a small oligarchy of immensely rich and influential people come to dominate a nation of have-nots, it makes for dissent, riots, revolution, and collapse. That is the point. If you think it can't happen here, you haven't considered enough history.
I love the Rome analogy because Nero Obama is fiddling while the economy burns around him. He just does it from a bus.
I dropped some Fanta Strawberry on my keyboard and the 'r' sticks. I had to press it 4 times just now. We aren't a nation of have nots. The poor here have central air and iphones and NFL Sunday Ticket. And we aren't ruled by a small oligarchy. We are a rich Republic. We have more millionaires now than ever before, and that number keeps growing.
You also get lavish lifetime GOVERNMENT health benefits absolutely free, money for college and other benefits all TAKEN FROM ANOTHER MAN'S WEALTH. Do I begrudge you this? Not a fugging bit. Neither do I begrudge that small portion of us that have nothing, a subsistence income for food and shelter. They are mostly children, disabled people, and the elderly. I am a bit irked at your attitude toward them since you are sucking on the next tit. We are a Superpower and we don't need third-world shantytowns and barrios and beggars in the streets. Advanced modern nations take care of their indigent people.
