I will say this, I don't know where else or whatever thread it belongs in but if Amare Cooper doesn't win the Heisman Trophy this year that award is an even bigger joke than I already believe it is.
Its between Marcus Mariota of Oregon and Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon. Gordon had about 155 yards Saturday but Mariota had over 450 passing with 4 TDs and 2 rushing TDs. Unless he has a bad game in the PAC 12 CG and Gordon has a monster game vs Ohio State Mariota pretty much has it wrapped up.
So the Big 12 has announced it will award co-champ status to Baylor and TCU should they both win this coming weekend. The thinking here is to not hinder TCU's chances of ending up in the top 4 should Ohio State be crowned as Big 10 champion. They also are hoping to get both Baylor and TCU into the top 4 should one of the top 3 stumble this coming weekend.
That's nuts. TCU is only co-champs the way Ole Miss was co-champs in the SEC West in 2003. Baylor should be champs based on head to head competition
I agree heads to head settles any other argument. With that, I've been thinking tcu was the best team in the country since about midseason. .
