from your perspective i dont see why it is all that relevant if the torture starts before or after death. and like i pointed out may times, there are points in history in which christians are the ones doing the killing.

of course. when god flooded the world and killed everyone save noah and his peeps, or when he burned sodm and gomorray, or brought down the 7 plagues, or even when he decreed that homosexuality is a sin that should be punished by death, he wasnt willing anyone to perish.

the reason humans perish is sin. they would live forever otherwise. unfortunately all of us are sinners and we fall short of the glory of god. we try, but we all sin anyways. so in that sense we are willing oursleves to death, god doesnt have anything to do with it. and even if we are pre and we never have a sin, we are doomed because of adam and eve and orginal sin. god didnt do that either. humans are simply flawed. i have sinned thrice in the last 10 seconds.

It is only the marginal evangelical Christian denominations, that are really popular in America that teach non-believers burn in hell with certainty.

 

that is a smart public policy to take, it keeps you from having to answer the question. but if we have any understanding of what the path is to heaven, and how to end up in hell, then we all actually kinda know. the path to heaven only goes through christ. i know it is only god's place to judge, but we regular folks can still speculate, and it seems pretty clear that if you deny jesus as hard as i do you are gonna burn.

so again, in that sense, i dont see a huge difference between radical islam and mainstream christianity. both of them have rules in place that mean i am in very very very serious trouble. trouble like you cant really imagine.

but the truth is the truth, and i cant expect christians to change their religion so i am not going to hell, there is nothing they can do about it. same thing with muslims. they cant go pretending that allah doesnt demand the occasional suicide bomber blowing up a pizzeria.

 

For something to be a sin the person committing the act has to know they are doing wrong. If your ignorance of God is as perfect as you claim then you might not be damned. Who knows? Not me. Not anyone.

Well how bout this glaring one... The radical Muslim is going to kill you for not following his way and smile doing it. The mainstream Christian is going to tell you , and sometimes in a mean tone, God is going to punish you when you die.

To say it more concisely, they both might believe you are going to hell, but the Muslim is going to send you on your merry way.

 

that is genius. perhaps i wont go to hell. i genuinely havent denied god or jesus because i am literally ignorant of them. they have never contacted me or shown me any evidence that they exist at all. this is good news.

i am not going to abandon my point that there are times in history when christians are the ones doing the killing. but i will concede that because the muslim likes to kill folks right now, while the christian waits for god to send them to hell, and it is possible god doesnt even send folks like me to hell at all, then i will agree that moden muslims are far worse than christians, or at least the christians that are not weird fundamentalists who believe i am going to hell.

i also do not like the christians that beleive i am going to hell but are afraid to say it.
