I would have to respectfully disagree with you here. If the majority of Christians aren't sharp enough to adhere to the true dogma of the faith then that is their fault, not the Church's.

That's like those people blaming the Church for the pedophile priests. That is not the Church's fault, it's the priests. They never should have become priests if they have those types of problems.

of course. god could never find a place to put people. he just has no space, and hell has lots of open space. thats just how it is. nothing god can do about the real esate shortage.

even god cant do anything about it.

like i have said before, religions are infintely interpretable, being based on nothing. so if the muslim says his religion is about killing, then it is. same with the irish bombers that blew stuff up last weekend.

again, this is identical to saying that islam is in fact a religion of peace, but terrorists are not adhering to the true dogma. the fact is that there is no true dogma and the terrorsts of any religion are interpreting. religion gives them a way to justify their nonsense.

i should be noted that flabengal is a truther and that means he is unable to properly process information. i would say the same thing about christians if i felt like being honest.

what do you mean? He sent his Son...and they crucified Him for goodness sake. What more do you expect?

God can't force you to accept him....that would be stupid. What would be the theological term for this new idea..."Coercive Love"...

    martin:

    Interesting point. Let's review:

    Person A says:

    -God exists.

-Christianity is most likely the most accurate description of the events involving life on this planet.

-Global warming due to mankinds activities is a hoax to enable governments to tax their citizens use of energy.

-Israel, with over 300 nuclear weapons, is more of threat to Iran, with zero known nuclear weapons, than visa versa.

-When three steel framed buildings implode after two aircraft impacts....(keep in mind the building were specifically designed to withstand aircraft impacts)....that's goddamn suspicious. Yes, I would say there is something fishy about that.

-J.F.K. was not shot by Lee Harvey Oswald.

-Patrick Peterson got at least one, if not two feet, down inbounds against Bama.

    Person B:

-The universe is just dumb, random luck.

-Religion is primitive man's attempt to explain dumb luck.

-Global warming is crap. (He got lucky on this one....must be something to this dumb luck thing.....)

-Non-nuclear states can credibly threaten nuclear states. Hasn't happened yet in the history of the world but hey...maybe the Iranians will get lucky.

-Steel framed building can collapse because of planes, just dumb luck they weren't designed a bit better. I tell you who got lucky was that skinny dude with the beard and the walking stick sitting in a cave somewhere that pulled off a once in a lifetime bullseye. Kind of reminds me of.....

-Oswald with a magic bullet....where did I put my rabbit's foot again?

-Close call goes Bama's way? Wow...lucky thing the SEC office is in Birmingham, Bama booster in the replay booth, no holding on the Alabama line all year long....damn those guys must be born under a good sign to be that.....well, um, it rhymes with "yucky".

earlier you indicated that god wasnt punishing nonbelievers by sending them to hell, it was just they had no other place to go, as if the issue was related to limited space.

of course. that would be stupid.

i genuinely do not like people like you.

come on, brother...your better than that!

Regarding Iran, I think it is a given that there will be military action taking place within the next 1-3 years. Can you imagine what will happen to the global economy then?

Will make Iraq look like a cake-walk....

There exists literal and temporal punishment for nonbelievers in Islam. I am unaware of any such earthly punishment for those unbelievers of Christianity in the world today.
