    I'm doubtful of that.

    Anyway, I think I've decided not to profile the TEs individually, but to do them as a group. I think that's the better writing hook, because of all the talk of "We recruited THREE TIGHT ENDS?!" I think that's where I'm going with this.

    Well I was joking with P&G glasses, but it went over heads even with the emoticon...but in all honesty, Pelini has set turnover records at every stop he's been at - so at some point they have to come.

    Actually, reverting back to the old clock rules will make a big difference.

    Not to mention we lost our 2 of our top 3 leading receivers...so there are some receptions to be had for some players/positions who didn't get much action last year in addition to the longer games.

    What do you do on 3rd and 12? You're not gonna run (unless you're jimbo :) ), and if the wideouts are covered, good chance you can get it to the tight end. It's not that you're trying to deny a wideout an opportunity, it is that you are trying to hit an open guy, for a higher probability of making a first down. If he's open, get it to him.
