Are just simply amazing. As Mandy and I sat in the North End Zone across the entire stadium from the LSU section last night... I can not count how many times I could hear the LSU faithful drown out the War Memorial crowd with their LSU chants. The Hog fans tried their best but our Band and the Fans some how were louder the Arkies entire stadium. That's impressive and says a lot about the LSU devoted. Makes ya feel good about being a Tiger. All of the Hog fans surrounding us made comments about it... felt good to hear them sound jealous about it even though we lost.
That's what really hurts is that yes we do have good fans who know their football and bleed purple and gold. When they play as they have been doing this year, it tells you something is bad wrong with this team and it's staff. Football is just like business. Just as a coach and his players, a manager knows that "his employees promote you or fire you and your boss only gives you that message". This is a badly managed team in every aspect of the game: leadership, discipline, fundamentals, attention to detail, self control, motivation, and desire. I wish coach miles the best in attempting to right this ship before it goes down.:helmet:
i couldnt hear anything ... i thought the band sucked and there werent enough fans ... of course i was right in front of the big screen and it had one hell of a speaker
Wow... we could hear everything across the stadium, it was impressively deafening. The Arky fans made several references to us being the loudest fans to come in there, and some said in Tiger Stadium our fans are the loudest in the country. Atleast we're admired for soemthing this season.
I couldn't really hear the fans except on the touchdown and first down cheers. I could hear the band though, loud and clear. I was proud of them because I was watching the game on tv and knew the sound was cut down a lot. :geaux:
I couldn't hear the fans on TV. And I don't really want to get into patting the backs of the LSU fans this year. Just as our team lost intensity, so did the fans. The booing, the mass exodus from games...2008 was a bad season, all the way around. For the team...for the fans.
