As I told you before, I have health problems that prevent me from traveling. I'll be there in spirit.
Can you sleep on a train? How hard is that, get on the train, find your room and take a nap until you get there. You can do that right?
Well that is a good question. I probably have the farthest to travel so a few 50 or 60 miles either way won't change anything for me. Probably find some great courses in the Acadiana area or even as far west as Lake Charles. I will let you locals figure that out, I'm in so whatever place works best for you guys is good with me.
Sept 23-24 is Bogalusa Blues Fest. Bogalusa only has a 9 hole course, but there are some nice 18 hole courses within 30 min. This festival is consistently rated in the top 10 festivals outside of NOLA. It could be a fantastic weekend. Golf in the morning, Blues Fest all afternoon and night. I cook some serious food for all of my friends at the festival. Additionally, for all of you guitar players, there is one hell of a jam after the fest is over both Friday and Saturday nights at my camper back in the back of the park. I'm game for anything, but will be at the Blues Fest that weekend.
65 said he couldn't do that weekend. Id hate to cut him out because he is going down this year but its up to the group.
Y'all have no idea how awsome it would be to combine it with the Blues Fest. Y'all could get a 2fer. However, I will do what the group wants.
