yes, I guess you do have to spell it out. I read this whole thread and still have no idea what the hell you are talking about. Believe me I might be the worse JJ fan there is but by no means do I think his mom stuck the NCAA on Miles. So please if you are going to claim that spell it out.

Wiston1 - personally I think you are spot on with your analysis. I personally think Miles went cautious and like with Ark & UGA he thought our defense and special teams could spark something and he waited on that. I personally feel even though he knew he had to throw the ball he had no confidence in JJ throwing it because he looked like sh*t the whole night and he felt that J. Lee would cave under the pressure like he did in Bryant-Deny. Thus we were doomed from the start and he was willing to just ride it out for fear it would get worse.

Over and done with can't bring the game back just can only hope Miles does not make the same mistake again. If he continues to learn from his mistakes that is all we can expect.

Absolutely. Saban did not make LSU a legend, LSU made Saban (and Miles) a legend.

We obviously have fans that have a comic book mentality Anything bad is Miles' fault, anything good goes to Saban's credit as though these coaches are overlord's who have magical powers over the universe. To these fans, the world must be judged from a simplistic, childish viewpoint of heroes and villains without any consideration of analyzing events in terms of the circumstances surrounding those events.

Forget that Miles got the #1 QB prospect in the nation to look at a program far from home, go against the wishes of his family and community, and verbally committ to LSU. What is more important to these fans is that they pin the fact that Kiel changed his mind on Les Miles.

"Miles won a BCSNC in three years with Saban's Recruits" yet somehow Saban winning a BCSCG in three years had nothing to do with the recruits Saban inherited from DiNardo.

No matter how impressive Miles maintains LSU's status during his stewardship, these guys will dig to find crap to discredit him because they OBVIOUSLY know more than a professional with over 20 years experience as a college coach at Division I universities. If they can't dig anything up they have to invent "obvious" stuff (which when one analyzes their arguments and positions through basic rules of logic their reasoning always fails) in order to denigrate him.

Why do they do this? Because they are insecure cowards who can't risk being looked at as being incongruent with the prevailing views of their partially informed social network. They are followers and never leaders. They follow the prevailing herd mentality of those around them even if the herd stampedes themselves over a cliff. Heaven forbid is they postulate a position that runs counter to the mob mentality of those around them - even if that position flows from logical conclusions that are based on tangible facts.

And the same fans that spewed venom at Jordan Jefferson over the years will be the 1st ones to bash Les Miles if Rickey Jefferson (who will probably be 4 star prospect) decides to accept a scholarship offer from a program out of state instead of looking at themselves in the mirror and manning up to the fact that their vitriol could have possibly had anything to do with it.

    This +1.

These coaches don't make LSU, LSU made the coaches. Both were relatively unknowns before LSU. Okie State and Mishy State didn't give either of them the chance to recruit the way they have in the south.
