Brenham turns out some great talent, they should be doing better on the field as a team............this was said to me by a couple college coaches the other day.

Yeah, we did Kyle. But, unfortunately, that happens in sports LOL. Using Chris Low's logic, LSU were the CHAMPIONS last season, hands down. Going by the numbers... Champions. nuff said :)

If this is true, IF, Miles was willing to threw away a perfect season, a National Championship win, go down as maybe one of the best college performances ever, blow a huge raise, all to prove who is boss.

Southerntgr - I agree don't buy it at all, I don't know what happened or if we will ever know what happened in the BCSNC game all I do know is that we were thoroughly out-coached and out-played period end of story. I refuse to believe that Bama had the better talent or team. I think it was close on all fronts but I think they had the better game plan and executed it well. I personally feel that as well as Miles has done, he truly could do a better job offensively because we have way too much talent at LSU not to have a dominant offense both rushing and passing the ball. I put that squarely on Miles's shoulders and I feel that we had a piss poor game plan in the BCSNC game and it showed.

I truly believe that was all it was we had a piss poor game plan and it showed and our coaches did a CRAPPY job of adjusting at half-time period end of story. Miles thoroughly under-utilized his talent on the team and left our fate in the hands of a QB that had no chance of throwing the ball down the field, could J. Lee have done any better we will never know "history shows us he did not do well in the games against Bama" but I for one would have liked to see him at least try for the simple fact that everything else we tried DID NOT WORK. But all the rest of the garbage going around about Miles feet being held to the fire or trying to show people whose team it was I don't buy it. Everyone knew whose team it was and has been and that was CLM's and I don't think one family could have forced Miles to play one player when he was not successful. Miles was just stupid stubborn which he has a tendency to be and it cost him and us dearly.
