Right now Les Miles is the most accomplished and successful coach in LSU history. When he got here 1000's of fans foretold the future of how Miles would have us at the bottom of the SEC West in a couple of years. One of the worse things that could have happened to them was Miles leading LSU to a couple of very successful seasons and then win a NC. Many of them dissipated into the night when that happened only to show up again when LSU had a couple of subpar seasons. Most stayed away except after the Tennessee game and all of this season until the BCS debacle.

I really do believe that many of these so-called fans pray for LSU to lose so that their prophecy can be fulfilled.

Miles has ben much more successful than Cholly Mac was especially when you consider his record vs good teams. We were lucky Mac never had to play 8 SEC games each year.

I can understand getting pissed off about a game and being disappointed about a season but to not be able to look at our record and see that we have been very successful under Miles shows that some have a different agenda. They are more concerned about being right in their opinion than seeing LSU be successful.

Any open minded person should be able to analyze our record and see that Miles is at this time the best coach we have ever had in almost every facet, be able to enjoy his tenure and our success and not be so afraid of the supposed dimmed outlook professed by some; and also be able to enjoy the offseason with out worrying about whether our not our coach is leaving.

You're an anonymous internet character. Of course you could divulge this mysterious name that has the goods on CLM. You won't because its total bull sh!t.

If you're gonna say your source knows who you are on here, remember, you could always create another account. Again, you won't because you are blowing hot air.

much of this discussion regarding our dismal showing in the BCSNCG is speculation and no more.

the only fact is that we were dominated in every sense in all phases of the game. the accountable parites are the coaches. we were totaly out-coached and out- played by a wothry quality opponent.

our coaches can offer no execuses for their performance - hopefully they do have the ability to recognize failure and implement necessary changes.

don't forget, we beat alabama in their house in november. we can beat them in our house next season if we learn from the past and do not become too stubborn to learn.

Our defense did fine, if they could have just gotten sliver of help.

Yes, Alabama was the better team on the night. But Bama is irrelevant. This performance was much more about LSU than it was about Bama. LSU would have struggled to finish .500 during the regular season if they'd played like that during the season. Thats the most frustrating thing for me. LSU was capable of so much more. Georgia Southern...300 yards rushing and 21 points. LSU 5 first downs. This wasnt about Bama.

I still don't know what the hell happened but I can say with 90% confidence, it wasnt BAMA that happened and it sure as hell wasn't Saban.

    I totally agree.

Miles is a great coach, he just made some bonehead decisions.

As for the conspiracy, who knows .. maybe it's true, probably not. But, in Kajun's defense, he can't reveal his source, because it doesn't matter if he is anonamous on here, the guy who told him knows who he told it too, and out of respect for his informant, revealing his/her name could get them in trouble. ... so who knows. But really ... who cares?? It's over, and unlike Bama, we don't get a "do over".

Kinda like Blem ... he can't get specific either.

Next year .. err .. this year .. is a whole new year. LSU will again be one of the top contenders. Let's see what happens. I expect 2012 to be a much more exciting year than this past. I think we will see a better, stronger SEC in general, which will make for some great football.

You misunderstood his statement it appears. He is saying that the naysayers will bash Miles if Jefferson's little brother doesn't come to LSU, even though so many of the fans have treated JJ like crap and evidently one idiot threatened him.

    Exactly.

And there was no argument to that point at all from him, so I guess we can assume that is exactly what his agenda is and will continue to be.

Here's a new rumor going around the Houston area:

Miles tanked the game on purpose to prove who is boss!

According to the rumor, J Lee's father approached Miles after the SEC Championship Game with concern's about Jarret's playing time, this is when the fight started within the ranks. Miles decided he would show everyone who's the boss and play Jefferson (barring injury) no matter what the outcome, thus sending a message to anyone questioning Miles about his coaching decisions.

I'm guessing that Brenham is close enough to Houston, so the Lee supporters believe this to be true.

I didn't make this crap up, I'm just adding another Urban Legend to the list.

Herb, just because posters don't conform to your thoughts or think everything is perfect they are conspiracy theorists, nay sayers etc.... Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, if you don't like what they are saying or don't agree with it than don't read it.
