Looking into next season I have to wonder, can it get any better? Now, we are sitting on what could easily be stated as something our grandchildren might not experience. Has the league been any better than today?
NEVER a finer CFB season in my lifetime. I think it will be a great while before we see another like it. SEC is gonna be alot of fun to watch next season.
The scary part is how young most of the conference is. - Most of the conference especially UGA, UF, AU, UT, and Bama have incredibly young skill players. - LSU had some upperclassmen but still has a ton of young guys as well. Basically the only teams that look to drop off are Kentucky and Arkansas. - Ole Miss will get better as will South Carolina.
From top to bottom, the parity in the high level of play in this league hasn't been matched by anyone. UGA and Florida will be veeeery good next year. Kentucky and South Carolina are no longer pushovers. Croom has brought Moo U back from the dead with a bowl win. Saban will eventually turn Bama around. Auburn is still as dangerous as ever, and Arkansas is now a contender. Also add the caliber of coaching to the mix and I don't see how the SEC isn't the cream-of-the-crop conference in college football.
I think the coaching is getting sick in the SEC as well Richt Meyers Petrino Spurrier Miles Saban Phat Phil Nutt - He is not as bad as people thing There is 5 national titles in that group Heck you could argue Croom Just sick... PS thats for the win over Colorado. It really helped me here in OU country and their mouths. GEAUX SEC
What is scary? Despite the young talent there are high school players that will compete for starting roles. Despite seniors winning starting jobs and awards, there are FRESHMAN. Catch the presser with UGA today..
you have to put Croom in that argument, with the team he had to do what he did. Picture Croom with Auburns talent or Bama. We are the best. conference wise nobody is better.
