No way UF hires Miles. Conservative coaches that TOTALLY RELY on defense and special team are dinosaurs. The game is play great offense and just enough defense. UF wants an offensive coach. The Oregon coaching tree is about to get a bunch of branches.
Before Missouri came into the SEC no one would've given them a chance to win it. Funny. And to now call the East a joke, I thought THIS WAS THE SEC. What I'd like to know is how in the hell Arkansas is in the West and Missouri, sitting right on top of them, is in the East.
I think Fayetteville is further West than Columbia, but Columbia is further West than just about all the other schools in the West. The SEC should be realigned.
its not about being geographically correct anymore. that ship sailed when all the conferences began merging. its about money and how those green pieces fit together, only.
It doesn't matter because LSU's expectations are for SEC and National Championships. If the team in Tuscaloosa was in the other division LSU would still have to defeat them to win the SEC. I could care less about alignment, but I do hate the special treatment of Bama with the permanent opponent BS. Who really cares about the freakin Third Saturday in October? Over half the students at both schools were not born during the height of that rivalry. When Tenn was good, Bama sucked and now Bama good, Tenn sucks. SEC needs to go to nine conference games and no permanent opponent with NFL style scheduling that top of the west from previous year plays top of the east.
