Tulane needs to drop down in class (div 1a), build a small multipurpose stadium on campus...and then try to build up their fanbase by allowing high school, Loyola and UNO students in the games for little or nothing... ...or give up football completely...forever.
Texas will win it all, just wait and see:hihi: Bama will lose in the SEC championship game, and Florida will lose in the BCS National Championship game. Bad Karma will get them in the end guys:wink:
I find Texas fans much more tolerable than Aggies or Sooners. They aren't as fun as Texas Tech fans, though. Texas fans will talk smack about LSU, but only because they know we're major competition for them.
You may not have worked with, hung out with or played golf with as many tea-sippers as I have! I always tolerated it, and I didn't become such a huge tu hater until after Mack Brown did Major Applewhite (who went to the same highs school as I did) so wrong because of promises made to the golden boy's daddy. Didn't your father coach Major in high school? Or, is that someone else I am thinking of?
I don't want Texas to win anything. We recruit east Texas and get a lot of talent from there. We never get much talent from Bama. I'd like to see the West Division win again, . . . but I think Florida is better.
Maybe I'm just more insulated after being in Tejas since '97. My dad coached @ CHS, but it was long before Major was there.
I've been in Tejas for over 25 years. I came over here in '83 to get an MBA at Texas A&M and have been here since. Barrett Murphy was the head coach at CHS during my days there.
The best senerio for me would be for Florida to stomp a mud hole in the Sabanators and Texas to win it all to prevent a repeat. Colt with the Heisman as well. I never pull against the conference but they leave me no choice this year.
