Um let's not act like that UT/Bama game was 4 years ago, that was just over a month. Can our D stop UT? Yes they can. Will they? Remains to be seen. I don't think UT's D can stop our offense. It will probably be a high scoring game on both sides. If the UT team that played UF, Bama, and Vandy shows up, we beat them, even if we don't give our "A" game. Now, if the LSU team that played the 1st half Friday shows up, UT can walk away with this one.
I know that you are probably aware of the fact that Matt Flynn has a sore shoulder and will not be 100 percent healthy on Saturday. In fact, he may not even play.
NOT! It's all about skins on the wall. Just listen to Miles and his team's objectives - win the SEC west, SEC and NC. At this level of competition, it's all about championships, not overall wins. that stuff is for programs like Hawaii, not LSU. you're in denial if you don't think it's all about winning the big time, championship games. This game will define Miles because we will now see how well Miles can motivate his team after losing out on the ultimate goal, the NC.
With Bo interviewing with Nebraska on Sunday instead of studying Tennessee film, I'd say we'll have an uphill battle stopping Tenn or the "Little Sisters of the Poor" on Saturday. It just doesn't seem professional for a coach to be wooing other schools when he still has a job in front of him. Guess we were right about what happened to our D over the last few games. Bo's head wasn't in the game...it was on the Nebraska job. Sorta makes me angry. ldskule:
