It goes back to the title you placed on this thread. When a coach is concerned, to the point of responding, about what a guy writes in his newspaper column it shows he's feeling his seat get hotter. Some might even use the word insecure.

That's not including the point of his past players, etc., going to the point of taking a full page ad out a few weeks ago...the PTB are turning against him and have been for several years.

a little bama man hate here? We all know the grudge bama fans have for Tenn. and Fulmer.

Mind you, I can't say if it were LSU that had the probation issues with Fulmer, I'd be any different.

I agree, what are we going to say if Miles reinstates Perrilloux.

Fact is, we don't have all the facts in either instance, most of us don't have inside scoop on the team, we have to either trust the head coach or not.

right now, I'm going to trust Miles, based on his track record.

Coaches are always being second guessed on discipline issues, it goes with the territory.

I will say, Saban sure kept these issues covered up better than Miles does.

While UT ranks higher in "rivalry" standards with me than Auburn I have respect for the tradition of the school and its past coaches. Fulmer, I do not and it stems from more than just the probation issues you mention.

I do hate losing to UT.

I've been pointing to the separation Fulmer has from the PTB in Knoxville for several years now. To me, this is just one more example of how deep the movement to get him on his way is becoming.
