    true.

i dont believe ou is as dirty as it has been in the past, but i do not believe in squeaky clean. or even close to it.

however, in the case of jamarcus mcfarland, what i see, more than possibly not so clean recruiting, is a writer that has obvious bias and a bat chit crazy mamma.

Well, since I only have 3 posts of the 100 postings on this thread, I hardly feel that I have been "riled up", and I also stated clearly that I do not like Big 12 teams, including OU or UT. Even though I do not like them, I do not think it is appropriate to perpetuate negative rumors. Two of my postings were simply in support of MLU's thoughts. I felt they were concientious, well stated, and accurate, so I felt compelled to comment. This is a message board, right?

Don't worry about it, you're good. But I still think OU sucks

Insane. That's being a bystander. I can be objective by giving other teams the benefit of a doubt and still cheer for LSU.

How could you possibly know that I got riled up? No one on this thread has matched your posting frequency. You have posted twice as much as I have. If I am riled up, what does that make you? Obsessed?

Now you keep misreading my intentions even after I have explained them? :rolleye33:

I remember. That's why I said "relatively". Historically and going by what has been proven with punishments handed down, I doubt anyone approaches what OU has done. Since those times, improprieties have been far and few between.

So historically, OU is the dirtiest program in college football, but they been doing a better job of keeping their noses clean more recently.

Yes. 20 years ago, OU was filthy.

Oooooooh. McFarland responds to the NYT story:

    http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=893953

To sum it up: the paper referenced in the story was 'spiced up' for class, but he and his mother stand by the majority of the article.

We need one of those popcorn eating smilies. Man...it didn't occur to them to just say, 'everyone had something nice to offer, but OU fit me best?" Just, dayum. Talk about burning bridges in Texas.

This is a powder keg waiting to explode. There is no way the Texas nation is going to stand by and watch this story move on without recourse. They are on a mission to discredit McFarland, his family and that reporter. I think in the end they will be successful in painting the McFarland family as crack pot wannabe's who exploited their son/grandson.

Let have some and sit back. You also need some beer with that popcorn. :hihi:

I honestly feel bad for him for the guidance he is receiving from his family. I am also happy he's not coming to LSU and that he didn't disparage LSU slanderously the way he did Texas.
