t seems they have eliminated some of the 'Check with me' part of the offense. I believe this is allowing JJ to gain confidence and get into more of a rhythm. The O-line doesn't look as confused either. Hopefully we can continue to improve and come away with a victory at Bama.
a big part of it is that Jefferson doesn't drop back 15 yards every time he throws the ball... very Aaron Brooks-ish quality...
A friend and Neighbor played Line at Arkansas. He said the O-Lineman jsut HATE that check with me crap. When they get up to the line they want to fire off the ball, but they sit there in a stance for up to 15 seconds and he said its just a killer for the offensive line. Plus they are not very comfortable sitting there for that long just trying to not move. Since he played SEC football I trust his judgement that offensive line production and success of the OLine is directly effected by this check with me stuff. I think the reason our line is playing better is because just that. They get up to the line and they fire off. Instead of sitting still for 15 seconds at a time in a 3 point stance. Seriously get into a 3 point stance, and stay there for 12-15 seconds. Its a long time, imagine if you are some big dude and you are doing that for 2 hours.
The sole reason the O is playing better is Coach Les Miles. Bank on it. He has everything to do with the difference in the way the play calling has been handled.
I guess I need to tell my wife and kids this new development in my life. Somehow, my sons favorite movie has people thinking I'm gay. Really now, is it necessary to insult me, it's not like I have ever said anything negative towards you.
Nice try, epic fail. You can't delete quotes my friend. The evidence is still there for all to see. I got your number now.
For the record, I am not gay and I really like the Jack Sparrow movies. I also thought the ending of Marley and Me was very sad.
