In the end .. it's not about fairness .... it's about the fact that we are sitting 10-0 with a particular set ... Lee starting/JJ relieving. Forgive me for having nightmares of last year when an undeserving AR team knocked us out of the Sugar Bowl .. because the particular set of JJ starting/Lee relieving, could not put up enough points to win the game. ... primarily because of Crowton ... but still, JJ took the overwhelming majority of the snaps. I want LSU to win out first. The whole fairness thing is a sideshow that is just out their. At this point, we don't know that JJ is the starter. CLM did say, it was a one-game decision. Lee could be starting again against Ol Piss. KYLE ... yep, I just can't be happy. Sorry, it's just my personality. And .. no .. I'm not happy that your happy either .. because like you said, I can't be happy.
We got beat by Arkansas last year because we gave up three TD passes one for 80 yards, another for 85 yards and one more for 40 yards in only 8:53 combined and over 200 yards (Half their offense) Wont happen this year
Let's just get this over with. Let JJ start so that we can lose, then JL can start again. That way everyone will be happy. :dis:
The irony in all of this is if/when we win the NCG, both sub par qbs will get rings. Both have contributed to getting there and winning. There are much better qbs that have been through 5 years of college football and have never even sniffed the chance at a ring. And unless I am wrong I think Lee already has one, so this would make two. please correct me if I am wrong.:hihi:
Never made that comparison, but if you didnt have a HUGE smile on your face after the scramble and option......come on man!!! That was awesome to see our boy Lee let loose and use his wheels man! Tell me im lyin! I know it was WKU, but the fact that he ran those 2 plays and ran them well, have to make you at least consider that when you put your defensive set on the field. Sideline to sideline gets the front 7 tired! If we can mix it in, and do so with Lee on the field......just another weapon baby!
Good post! Both QB's , including JL, has got to think "team" rather than themselves in bringing this team to the "promised land". I understand clm wanting to give JJ more reps to let him catch up to game speed. Looks like Miles will start with whatever QB he thinks would give him the best chance to win the game, and he wouldn't hesitate to replace the QB if the starter is ineffective, whoever that might be. If JJ were to start, I just hope the offense doesn't fall off, and that JL stays on course and not head south. i.e. hope JL continues to fight on....he has come such a long way and no time to quit even JJ gets to start. Ultimately he will get the credit from everyone if the team wins the :crystal:
Let's also not forget Knile Davis running the ball down our throats for most of the 4th quarter. Our ENITRE team was bad that day.
