    me too. He just did not seem to have that fire last year and the beginning of this year.

    I think, like anyone, he gets especially excited when he's with a team he really likes. He's starting to talk about this team like he's talked about previous teams, including 2007. Maybe that's the difference - he thinks these fellas have somethin' goin' on!

    I really believe him. He used QBs like he did last week and pretty much kept his own counsel, and it worked. He earned the right to say it.

    Very perceptive point there; I think you can be right.

    Earlier in the season, there was certainly no excitement in his face; he looked ashened at times as if he's tired of the job. Maybe he was dragged down by the difficulties in solving the JJ QB puzzle.

    It takes a rat's ass kick sometimes for everyone to wake up, players and coaches included.
