I'll believe all this "big step forward" hype about Jefferson when I see it. He should have ample opportunity to demonstrate it this weekend.
You got that right! JJ always has an "impressive" practice according to Les. I don't even know if Spring game is serious and physical enough for him to demonstrate his progress, cause we all know JJ makes bad decision under "real" pressures.
If it really took Mett to force Jefferson to up his game as a senior, then that does not thrill me about his football acumen or his ability to lead the team.
i think if jj really does improve that much, mett pushing him is only a fraction of it. i think the biggest part will be having a good qb coach that is actually coaching.
