Is it just me, or will I be the only LSU fan having a hard time in routing for a player named Jordan Jefferson.

How often did you watch Justin Jefferson make a great play and say, "Wait a minute....."

    Not often, I bet.

Are you confusing Justin (the great WR) with he who shouldn’t be named?

I swear if I had the power I'd make it impossible to even type his name on this board. I feel that strongly about it. Screw that dude!

lol, no, I'm saying when you watched Justin make great plays you didn't think about his older brother. And if Jordan Jefferson, DT, transfer from West Virginia, plays well, you won't care what his name is.

Oh, and He Who Shouldn't Be Named is that basketball player currently being a puss with the Brooklyn Nets, just as he pussed at LSU. The guy you're referencing could be painful to watch, but I think he gave us his best, which is a different kind of painful for we fans.

Zy Alexander, CB, portals from SELU to LSU. Saw him in high school, good athlete.

I'm not disappointed. I'm glad the portal is there to fill holes and solidify depth at positions.

Recruiting is used to shore up long term needs and the portal is there to shore up short term needs. CBK has stressed that the incoming freshmen will always be prioritized over the portal and as time goes on we'll likely see the portal used less.

The caveat there is that all of these football players (to quote Mike Leach) have been told by their 'fat little girlfriends' that they are the best football players ever and feel entitled to start instead of beating out their teammates for playing time. As a result, many will feel the urge to leave their current teams via their portal to find where the grass is greener (and to quote Irma Bombeck the "grass is always greener over the septic tank").

Haven't seen anything official, but considering Davis played in the bowl game, I'm assuming he withdrew from the portal.
