Wow, who's side are you on anyway? Were you there for the shoving? Did you hear any words that were exchanged and how it all ended? I think this whole jawing back and forth and the shoving is being blown out of proportion. No, one play didn't lead to the loss... but funny how one play would have led to the win, right? The game I saw was played well. That last drive was going very well up until the play in question. Not everything is on the coaches... seriously... that is a tired ass excuse. Remember that you're criticizing a man who had to scramble to take over from the last head coach. And that man has done very well so far.
I'm on the side of the facts; one of our players interfered with UF practicing. There were a ton of miscues that held us back from the win; we could have won that game two or three times over. You know what's a tired excuse? Coaches get credit when the players execute, but some don't want to make that a two way street. I can critique Eaux and recognize his positive attributes at the same time.
I'll agree to disagree with your thought process here. If the only fact you're basing the shoving incident on is the fact that one of our players interfered with UF practicing, you're not allowing for the full picture. To say Fournette shouldn't have been allowed to play, well, without knowing exactly what happened before, during, and also after the incident... I think that's too much. I agree about Coaches getting credit for players. But that doesn't have anything to do with blaming O for the loss. I think Coach O has done a great job considering what he's had to throw together in a hurry. Do I think he should be the "permanent" head coach of LSU? I don't know about that; maybe. I think most of us would prefer someone with more experience and especially an offense-minded coach.
Now that's very funny, but inaccurate. Red could write coherently and didn't repeat himself over, and over, and over again.
Sure sounds like you are blaming O. You can put a pig in an evening gown and lipstick but it is still a pig call em like I see em.
Dont let these guy make you compromise your gut feeling about O. If the mistakes made BY OUR PLAYERS were common place in the first 5 games then you look at the coach, we all know that was not the case. Using their logic we certainly shouldnt hire coaches who lose to teams like Navy, SMU, N Carolina and allow a team to put 60 points on them with much more talent than the teams previously mentioned. Losing to Bama is understantable and losing to Fla with the mistakes OUR PLAYERS made is also undersrandable. Geaux with Oeaux.
