He thinks it's cute. Maybe his house should have been flooded with no insurance to cover for that. Wouldn't that be cute? He realizes he roots for a god awful team with god awful management.
That's what I thought, but I didn't want to bring up your inflated post count in yet another thread. :thumb:
My only argument at all with this is inferring that I made a bad move. I had little to no input in the decision. And the Texans have never sufficiently explained this aspect, other than saying they didn't get offers from teams that would have allowed them to still get Mario Williams. I agree that this seems highly suspect. Sure, if your team already has a running back, that's a great player to have. But if you have Domanick Musharaff as your running back, that may not seem so appealing. I disagree. Look Parcells, I refuse to stop acknowledging his highly self-publicized Katrina efforts. I think it would be disingenuous to just disregard his efforts, especially with as much work as his crew did to make the most of it. Sure, guys like Joe Horn and Deuce and countless others did/do as much or more, but they didn't work as hard to publicize it.
It wasn't the flip and dance. It was the taunting pointing for the final 15 yeards. And I think it fired up the Bears' defense.
I agree the taunting was the worst part of all. I didn't pay much miind to it when it happened as I was so damn excited we were back in the game.
he apologized to payton as soon as he realized what he did. I didnt like the pointing either. the rest was cool, especially the flip as always.
Until he breaks a collarbone. Hand the damn ball to the official and go celebrate with your teammates. Reggie gets enough pub without having to manufacture some.
Not scoring on that drive hurt, but the defense did manage to get the ball back and momentum was still with the Saints. The crowd was not in the game at that point. IMO, the play that completely changed the game and momentum was the intentional grounding for a safety. No other way to say it ... it was a bonehead play by an all pro QB. Just goes to show that no one is immune from doing that every now and then. Everything went downhill after that.
How did "we" firmly establish this? By the fine season changing performance of Mario Williams? I will say that RBush is not the reason the Saints are so vastly improved, but to say that Houston would've WASTED a pick with him is ludicrous. I'm sorry, but when you have the overall #1 pick, you don't pick Mario Williams...you pick Reggie Bush.
