Most college football coaches get fired. Not sure you have to be a 19th century German to predict that Miles will probably end up getting fired someday. Interesting that you chose AS who is known for promoting that humans are never satisfied.
Miles would have to rape an entire cub scout troop on the steps of the state capital before "firing" would even be a consideration (and at least 4 of them would have to be black). We play enough "sisters of the poor" and a few other SEC bottom feeders to make a losing season anytime soon unlikely. If you expect to win a NC during the same time frame I'd say your chances are about the same as miles raping that cub scout troop. Not with this coach, not with this staff.
Can't help it if you are slow bruh. Why don't you tell me what you are having trouble understanding? 1st post in the thread and few thousand times? Really?
While I don't necessarily agree, props for working Schopenhauer into a conversation about LSU football.
Allow me to differ. One more debacle like the Alabama massacre can get Les fired. One more clock mismanagement fiasco like Ol Miss can get Les fired. No coach in college football is secure and a coach with Miles type baggage better not get too fat and happy. Les is vulnerable and deservedly so. And if he does get fired at some point, don't feel too sorry for him. He makes more money in one year than 95% of the LSU fans make in their lifetime. Not that I'm calling for him to be fired. I think that would be premature. This is coming from one of the people defending Miles when he was under heavy attack a couple years ago. But after the Alabama humiliation I moved onto the fence about him and he didnt do anything this year to get me off it one way or the other. Five years of pitiful offense, losing too many games they should have won and too many recruits with character issues have tempered my enthusiasm. But he's got positives too, so I hope he can course correct.
Don't feed the troll, fellers. This turkey just makes inflammatory posts and then never backs them up. He's pulling your chains.
Schopenhauer was a nice flashback to some of my New College courses. Some of his quotations really set a fire under the "fire and brimstone" sect. I don't agree with his views, but have to admit The World as Will and Representation was a fascinating read.
